SLA is the pillar of the FIAMM range of AGM VRLA batteries and is
designed for demanding applications to achieve the highest level of
reliability and security. The range is perfect for critical applications, due to its proven reliability and is compliant with the highest recognized international standards. Special lead calcium tin alloy thick grid is designed to meet long life requirements and flame retardant ABS plastic to UL94 V0 (LOI greater than 28%) grants the safest levels of protection.
The design uses proven VRLA technology with 99% internal recombination efficiency, is non-spillable and maintenance-free therefore requires no topping up of electrolyte during its -life. The SLA range is non-hazardous for air/sea/rail/ road transportation and is 100% recyclable. The design is optimized to limit the self-discharge guaranteeing a long shelf-life.

SP SERIES
SP AGM maintenance-free range designed for a wide range of applications in flame retardant ABS cases
The SP range of valve regulated batteries is designed to be maintenance free. The special lead alloy grid is designed for a 10 years design life and provides a short recharge time. This sealed recombination battery has a wide range of applications and can be charged and discharged many times.
The SP range is designed around AGM VRLA technology with the exterior casing made in flame retardant UL94 V0 ABS plastic, fully recyclable, non-spillable and maintenance-free. SP range is nonhazardous for air/sea/rail/road transportation. Batteries can be installed in upright and horizontal planes. With a low self-discharge these battery are an ideal solution for periods when batteries may be stored

FLB SERIES
FLB 10/12 years design life enclosed in a rugged flame retardant ABS case and available with top and front terminal designs.
The FLB is one of our most popular battery and is used extensively in many applications including UPS backup power. The battery is designed to deliver the highest levels of performance. The high energy density construction in a compact design also helps to reduce costly installation space.
The exterior construction uses a Flame retardant ABS plastic to UL94V0 (LOI greater than 28%) – this guarantees a high level of safety and superior thermal stability to avoid case bulging.
The FLB range is based on AGM VRLA technology and it is 99%
recyclable at the end of life. The battery is fully maintenance-free and requires no routine topping-up of the electrolyte. The range carries a non-hazardous designation and can be transported by road, rail or air. The design has been optimized to lower self-discharge during storage.

The FIT AGM VRLA range is designed for the highest reliability and
safety fields. These batteries are constructed with an easy-access
front-terminal design and are particularly suited to telecom backup
applications in 19” and 23” cabinets. The construction of the FIT range is aimed to minimize the footprint thanks to good energy density and allows easy access during the routine visual inspections.
Internally high-quality fiber-glass separators are used to control recombination currents and avoid thermal runaway. The exterior construction uses a flame retardant ABS plastic to UL94 V0 (LOI greater than 28%) – this guarantees a high level of safety and superior thermal stability to avoid case bulging. SMG SERIES
18 years design life GEL battery ; perfect for demanding applications
The SMG with tubular die casted positive grid is a range designed for applications where performance and operating conditions are critical. They are maintenance-free and combine the benefits of a gelled electrolyte which provides longer life and the ability to operate across a wide temperature range.
The SMG range is made up of 2V cells and conforms to international OPZV standards DIN 40742 norm. They are constructed to provide a high level of robustness for applications where charge-discharge cycles need to operate at the maximum levels of reliability. Separators have extremely high porosity: this feature allows intense cyclic usage and an ABS flame retardant case, classified to UL94 V0 with LOI >28% is available on request. The range is maintenance-free with a low self-discharge making
the battery an ideal solution for periods when batteries may be stored or for off-float charge. The SMG 2V range can be installed horizontally in dedicated racks which save installation valuable space and is eco-friendly with all components fully recyclable at the end of life.

LM SERIES

The LM series is an OPzS vented range designed by FIAMM to meet
DIN 40736 standard. Typical applications include telecommunication, industrial UPS, utilities, industry, railways and Oil & Gas applications. The LM series has been designed to provide users with a highly robust and are particularly suitable for applications where discharge cycles need to be one of the highest levels of reliability. As a result of this, the range capacity exceeds the specification laid down by the DIN standard.
This performance is achieved as a result of a low antimony alloy tubular die casted plate which provides very low water consumption over the life of the product. The design has been optimized to lower self-discharge during storage. All these outstanding features add up to a longer life product with lower maintenance costs. Like all FIAMM lead-acid batteries, the LM range is eco-friendly and fully recyclable at the end of life.

15 years design life flat-plate flooded cells for high rate demanding application
The SD-SDH range is the perfect choice when the application requires high power in a short period. Main applications include industrial UPS, utilities, industry and oil & gas. The range is designed to provide a high level of robustness for applications where high energy peaks are needed in a short time.
Due to special low antimony plates design the range has the added benefit of low maintenance resulting in lower operating costs. Under normal float operating conditions, topping-up is required every three years. The design has been optimized to lower self-discharge during storage. All these outstanding features add up to a longer life product with lower maintenance costs. Like all FIAMM lead-acid batteries, the SD/SDH range is eco-friendly and fully recyclable at the end of life.

The SGL-SGH battery series is a GRoE vented battery range designed to meet the DIN 40738 norm. SGL SGH cells differentiate from traditional flooded batteries with a Planté positive pure lead plate which brings a unique laminate design.
This robust design is constructed to provide a deep discharge and highrate performance with an unsurpassed design life of 25 years. The pure lead positive alloy plate also results in very low water consumption that means limited maintenance during product life (single topping up in 3 years in float conditions); the design is optimized to limit the self-discharge during the storage period. The range is eco-friendly with all components being fully recyclable at the end of life.
